Thank you for watching
Ive had some great feedback from a few folks on the facebook group about the new video for All The Wasted Hours, I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and it's always great to hear any thoughts on what we're up to! The video was a bit of an experiment really, it might not notice to most viewers (except for Moog) but I tried out a new way of shooting, this time using glass lenses on the camera, instead of the usual video lens. Its a bit of a convoluted process as I built an adapter to enable me to shoot through stills photography lenses to achieve this, it makes a great image but meant we had to shoot the whole thing upside down and back to front in the viewfinder! All a bit weird. I wanted to make a nice simple video for the song as its quite short and snappy compared with Words For The Living, plus doing it this way meant we could just about squeeze the filming into a 3 hour rehearsal slot. I like the way the shots came out, I would have got more angles if we had time, but I expect for the next video we'll stay with the glass lenses again. We're gonna get together at the end of the week and decide which track to put out next and then shoot another video pretty soonish, ideally we want to get the next song up here in around a months time... better get cracking!
