Reading write-up / Beatles Bank holiday

I was lucky enough to get to see Radiohead at Reading yesterday evening – was really a great show, and did have a few surprises, like opening up with Creep.

Today, I also heard some of Radio 2's Beatles Bank holiday, which was pretty interesting - particularly this programme about the production of the records. Well worth a listen if you're into recording, and there is some new stuff in there about how they've used new plug-ins to patch up the original audio, and even split out instruments recorded to the same mono multitrack track.
