Fury Fanzine - The High Order review

After their impressive demo last year A Citizen Above Suspicion are back with a new EP and quite simply it rocks, in an understated kind of way but it rocks all the same.
Since the first demo recording they have added more personnel to the line up and this has greatly fleshed out the sound no end. Coupled with the fact that the excellent older demo tracks have been rerecorded and now sound as good as the new ones. And they slot very nicely beside them too.
The first new track ‘Ten Steps to a Healthy Mind' mixes epic, mega catchy choruses with the now familiar whispered, keyboard led verses. The intro of ‘The worst is yet to come' is quite simply stunning, black as pitch orchestral samples with a dark piano passage. Unfortunately it doesn't stay quite as menacing as it was threatening to be, but still skillfully builds into a crescendo of Patton-esqe screeching and dissonant guitars.
This is great stuff and really does deserve to be properly released so you can all go out and buy it.
